Sierra Leone New Tonkereeli Project
The new Tonkiri Project in Sierra Leone is located in the Tonkiri mining district of the Northern Province. Covering a total area of 408 square kilometers, it ranks among the world’s largest confirmed single‑deposit magnetite deposits. The project also represents Sierra Leone’s largest iron ore mining operation. Our company was primarily responsible for the blasting works at the New Billy and Malampaya mining areas, which host primary magnetite ores. On October 3, 2025, we successfully carried out the first blast, subsequently breaking the monthly blasting record multiple times since the mine’s inception, thereby providing a robust guarantee for uninterrupted production at the site.
